Florie Huppert Design is looking for a Part-Time Production Assistant for Social Events. Responsibilities would include supporting the Senior Event Planner and Founder with the coordination and pre-production of the 2022 events, in addition to assisting with a few administrative tasks. This is not a virtual position. This is an in-person, hands on job where you will be reporting directly to the Founder.

Please note: this is currently a temporary position slated to last from July 2022 to November 2022 with a possible extension. The office is located in The Bronx (138th Street, off of the 6 train). Please do not apply unless you are able to commute.

3 days per week from approximately 10am-6pm with some flexibility. Potential for increased work hours / days especially around events. There is the option to provide onsite support for event day-of execution which is most likely on a Saturday. This is not required, but it would be a bonus and there will be additional compensation.


  • Responsible for loading in and loading out event supplies which can be up to 20 pound boxes
  • Production duties such as assembling invitations, mailing invitations, gathering event supplies, and packing and organizing event supplies
  • Administrative duties such as answering phones, drafting agendas, creating event lists
  • Research event supplies as needed
  • Assist with shipments and scheduling messenger deliveries


  • Impeccable attention to detail and extremely organized
  • Proficient in time management and prioritization skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated, assertive, and able to effectively move a project/task forward
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills to efficiently and seamlessly resolve unforeseen issues
  • Quick to learn new tasks


  • Must be proactive and able to work independently as well as contribute to a strong team
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with assistance
  • General knowledge or understanding of Bar / Bat Mitzvahs is helpful
  • A valid drivers license and ability to drive in the city is not required, but a bonus.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
