Basic Job Function: The Packing Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the successful operations of the packing department to help ensure all employees are completing their tasks in a timely manner. Duties of this position include supervising product packaging, ensuring that standards of quality are being met consistently, reporting any discrepancies to the Executive Pastry Chef, and monitoring inventory. Task/Responsibilities: • Supervise and give daily guidance and direction to staff. • Plan for peak periods, events and seasonal changes • Check in with employees to confirm attendance, making sure all employees are prepared to begin shifts • Ensures department employees are trained and adhere to all worksite safety, food safety, hygiene protocols and compliance standards.

• Ensure staff follow established policies and procedures while encouraging quality and continuous improvement • Ensure work area teams follow the continuous improvement framework in the areas of Safety, Food Safety Quality and Productivity • Primary liaison between floor personnel and management • Checks for damaged goods; verifies quantity • Maintain and adhere to all worksite safety, food safety, hygiene protocols and compliance standards • Wrap, package, and ship product; delivers and retrieves products to and from storage areas. • Tags and issues supplies, rotates inventory • Ensure Freezer and loading docks are clean and organized • Energetic, decisive, engaging with ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment • Other projects or duties as assigned Minimum Requirements: • Minimum 1 year experience in a Supervisory role • Excellent communication and organization skills • Strong organizational and influential leadership skills - managing and empowering personnel or teams • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks. • Ability to work in varying temperatures ranging from 35F to -05F • Interacts with people effectively. Able and willing to share and receive information.
• Recommend ideas on avoiding issues before they arise. • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period. • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
